A lovely place to vacation with family. The bungalows are somewhat aged but that is easy to overlook. The children will have a great time here and the sauna area is very good for adults.

The hotel has been renovated and is nice, but the service is the worst. The staff has no experience, in fact I don't think any of them have ever worked in hotels and restaurants before; they understand neither German nor English, they clean bathrooms with towels! Bar and restaurant staff are inadequate, they bang plates, glasses and cutlery together, generating deafening noise in the room. They are not German and I think they come from parts of the world that are incompatible with Europe or the USA. Evidently, the Hotel General Manager and the F&B Manager are also inattentive to say the least and do not carry out any checks on how the hotel works.

Was there for 4 days. First day my wife hurt her foot in the waterslide so she couldn't walk or stand. The gentleman who took charge helped out a bunch, also in the following days. Although, in the following days the other personnel didn't go any length to help out. They spoke of 'death sentence' if they let her through a quicker way due to her crutches. We first thought of it as a joke, but alas... The house was filthy with black hair hanging out of the headboard of the bed, the floor wasn't clean upon arrival, and our travelling companions who lived in the house next door was very challenged when it came to kitchen utensils. My wife and I were very happy to have our one-plan house though, because if we had had one of the two story triangular houses, my wife wouldn't have been able to go to bed due to her injured foot. Neither house was barrier-free but our was better.

The resort had explained that some things were under construction and repair, which was due to the storm in the fall. This was also the reason for a reduced price which was fine, but there were a lot of things not working in the endeckerbad which wasn't due to the storm. Ex. Showers not working properly. Other places bore signs of the same neglect.

All in all. Kid was somewhat happy, we weren't. Won't be coming back.

A lovely hotel right on the beach. Fresh renovated rooms, friendly staff and really good food at the various restaurants at the resort. And the bar in the reception had a very capable barmaid.
The indoor playhall and swimming pool are also a massive highlight. The indoor play area has the possibility to rent in-line skates, scooters or skateboards. Helmets are free to use.
The swimming pool is great too. With two water slides and a spa.

The family room are the best we felt like home, free wifi, separate silent rooms! The hotel itself could have new elevators they are pretty slow, and cleaning could also be improved by getting new vacuum cleaners due to the sand we bring from the beach in the end of the day or even giving vacuum cleaners for guests it would be an option. Breakfast and dinner were very satisfying delicious different dinner every day, we must have gotten weight because of them but anyway I enjoyed I definitely could come back any time if wasn’t for the crazy weather we had every day one day windy other nice!

Everything was incredibly good highly recommended to all who want to enjoy an amazing view 🌅 The room was perfect ( our room was a sea view on 11 floors). The food was awesome in Isfjord restaurant dinner night and breakfast was tasty. The elevators were a little slow and we should wait for a little but I think it was due to the redesigning

We went for a january get-away weekend, and it was great.
The rooms are very modern and of high standard, and the place is run very professionally.
Beforehand we had a few questions and we got fast and useful replies on email.

But... we did also order diner beforehand and it was a buffet in a location called "Limerick", and that was not at all great.
Mediocre at best. I don't know if they normally use another restaurant for the buffet, but this was sub-par.
Just a heads up, that if you like quality food, don't include dinner, and go to ex. Isfjord instead.

The hotel is obviously something thought up by the architect anti-christ in the early '70 but the room had been very resently renovated and was very nice. Very nice bathrooms and a nice balcony. We were luvky with the weather and had it been raining we might have had a different oppnion. Nice marina and nice area for walks. We didnt use any of the (pay for) facilities such as the "water park" but it look nice. We had the half board plan. They assing you an early or late "time slot" based on what criteria i dont know - but you can change that. The breakfast was OK the dinner was "la-di-dah" - and the forst evening quite bad. But your options are limited since this is quite out of the beaten path. Very good beds!
